Hi, I'm James a candid wedding photographer

What does candid wedding photography mean? Working in a candid wedding photography style mean I capture all those natural, relaxed, fun and emotional moments from across your wedding day. Sometimes called documentary wedding photography or reportage wedding photography, essentially these all mean candid. For you this means either no posing or very little posing, leaving more time for you to just enjoy your wedding day. I won't interrupt your wedding day making you pose, I will let the day flow naturally and candidly capture the magnificence of your day.

By working in this way, quietly disappearing into the crowd so that I photograph from the heart of the action means that I do not get in the way, you will hardly notice I am there, so you can enjoy your day without feeling over photographed.

Does this mean no posed photos? That is up to you, I will never force you to pose. If you want a few of the classic posed family group photos or some bride and group portraits just let me know. I will make sure we get those done quickly for you so you can get back to having a great time.
