Wedding Photography At Winters Barns

Winters Barns is a stunning wedding venue in Kent, made up of several barns, some dating from 1660, the venue has its all. A historic rustic barn, beautiful grounds, a country setting and it's just a few minutes outside the city of Canterbury. This is one of my favourite wedding venues in the area and a beautiful setting for any wedding.

This wedding was shot in November 2023 so took place indoors but the sun was shining, unlike much of the summer in 2023! The bride and family got ready onsite in the Salon before the wedding in the barn. Drinks and canopies were enjoyed outside and in the bar area before a gorgeous meal, speeches and a wonderful first dance.

My Favourite Wedding Photograph

I love a good wedding especially those natural romantic moments. Being a dad to my wonderful daughter you will often find me with a tear in my eye when the father of the bride does his speech. At this wedding it was this first dance that really struck me, you could feel the love the couple have for each other as they danced together and they had a great time doing it. I have chosen this as my favourite wedding photo for two reasons, mainly the way the groom is looking at his beautiful wife but secondly the photo shows off the fantastic detail in the back of the dress. Throughout the day I try to capture all the little details like flowers, dress, rings etc as candidly as I can so the couple do not have to spend too long posing.
