Broome Park Hotel Wedding Photography

The Broome Park Estate was established during the reign of Charles I. This grand home is one of the best examples of Carolean architecture and was built around 1638. In 1911 Lord Kitchener brought Broome Park and made it his home. You might remember Lord Kitchener from your history lessons at school, he is the face of the famous WW1 army recruitment poster with the pointing finger. Today Broome Park is a hotel with a golf course and also a fabulous wedding venue, it's one of my favourite wedding venues in the area.

The British summer does not always guarantee a dry day but the weather held for this fabulous wedding. The couple were simply brilliant, such genuine people. They are both deep sea divers, and had several tables showing all the wonderful finds they had discovered from the ocean floor over the years.

My Favourite Photo

This photo of the bride having her veil put on is one of my favourites from this stunning wedding at Broome Park. You can clearly see that the bride is having a wonderful time with her friends at the bridal prep. She is also bathed in this beautiful window light making her really standout while the room drops into shadow in the background.

The Italian Garden

Summer weddings at Broome Park often happen in the Italian Garden at this wonderful Loggia. This is a stunning spot for a wedding and makes for some great photos.

Wedding Speeches

Another of my favourite moments, taken during the speeches. It's natural happy moments like this that I believe really help to tell the story of a wedding day.
