Reach Court Farm Wedding Photography
Reach Court Farm is simply a stunning venue. A beautifully restored former grain barn, which sits tucked away within landscaped gardens on the coast near Dover — the kind of place that feels both peaceful and full of character from the moment you arrive. There’s a quiet charm to it, where beautiful gardens meet open skies, and every corner seems to lend itself perfectly to a wedding day.
Below are a selection of photos from a wedding at Reach Court Farm in early September 2025. Somehow, the couple managed to dodge the unpredictable British summer rain and were treated to glorious sunshine from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, there was a relaxed energy to everything about the day. No rushing, no stress, just people genuinely enjoying being there. Days like this are always the best days to document because nothing feels forced, it just unfolds naturally creating some wonderful moments to photograph. The ceremony took place at the top of the gardens, surrounded by greenery, creating a setting that felt effortlessly intimate and relaxed. As the day moved on, the celebration shifted into the old grain barn for the wedding breakfast and reception.
My Favourite Photo
The ceremony itself was full of those fleeting little moments I’m always looking for and this is exactly why this is my favourite photo. This was the moment that the registrar asks if anyone objects and, after a short pause of no one saying anything, there is often a little laughter at this point. The Bride and registrar are looking out to the guests and laughing but the groom is fixed on his wife with an amazing smile on his face. I love capturing little moments like this. Moments that only last a split second, but tell a whole story all of their own.
Posed photos don't often make it to my favourite images but this was very close. It's not exactly that posed, Nan was saying goodbye and the bride and groom put their arms round her and asked for a photo. The look of pure joy on Nan's face makes this one of my favourite moments from the wedding.
