A Secret Garden Wedding
The Secret Garden in Ashford is one of those rare venues that seems to have gotten everything right. The outdoors space, the indoors space, the staff and the food are all amazing. A good few years ago I had job that involved running events and we used The Secret Garden many times for that reason. Since I have been a full-time photographer, I have photographed several weddings here and that same level of quality shines through from the venue. This beautiful wedding was no exception.
The couple were treated to a beautiful bright and sunny October day in 2021. The perfect weather to enjoy drinks outside and the lawn games as you can see below in one of my favourite candid photos from the wedding.

Documentary Wedding Photography
A wedding is not just a set of photos from those classic parts of the day, such as the ceremony, group photos and first dance. I believe a wedding is a collection of moments, real emotional moments that quickly vanish into the past and then lost in the rush of the day. My job as a documentary photographer is to capture all these moments through my photographs, to allow them to become memories, emotional reminders of the joy, love, and affection of the wedding day. Memories that in 10, 20 or 30 years will help you remember how you felt, how you laughed and the real emotion of your wedding day.
