The Night Yard
I had never worked at The Night Yard before Becky and John's Wedding which is a shame as as the venue is stunning. An amazing hideaway, walled on all sides and has the feeling of being deep in the countryside when in fact it's only a few minutes from the city of Canterbury.
My Favourite Picture
The energy, happiness, fun and love that made this wedding a pleasure to photograph is summed up perfectly in this photo. I do not think I have met a couple who laughed so much together as Becky and John. There was an amazing connection between them both and that made for many great moments to photograph, some of which I have included below.
Laughter
This moment was captured just after the first kiss when the bride realised that her now husbanded was covered in her lipstick!
A Quick Walk
After the wedding ceremony and a little way into the drinks the bride and groom took a walk around the grounds outside The Night Yard. I kept my distance to not ruin the moment and captured this image of the couple walking along a small orchard.
First Dance
I almost chose this as my favourite image from the day. All the elements for a first dance photo are there, the couple embracing, the brides ring in shot while the guests look on and the classic guest texting in the background.
