Normally, on most websites, you would find the "About Me" section here but I think it's more important to talk about you, to help you decide if I am the right photographer for you. Choosing a wedding photographer to photograph one of the most precious collection of memories for you is an extremely difficult task so I hope this helps you make the right choice for you.
If you are looking for a wedding photographer...
who will candidly capture natural, meaningful moments, who will not intervene in the flow of your day and will not keep asking you or your guests to constantly pose,
who will try to remain as invisible as possible but always close to the action, keeping their eyes open ready to capture beautiful candid moments as they unfold,
who will document your day in a respectful way, capturing beautiful memories for you and your family to look back on for years to come,
then I might be the right photographer for you.
If you are looking for an highly posed set of photos, where the photographer stops moments unfolding as they naturally would to ensure they get the picture,
or a wedding photographer to take your dress and hang it in a tree to get an artsy photo or to spend 30 minutes taking the perfect photo of a perfume bottle,
then I am probably not the photographer for you.

Do you shoot destination weddings?
Yes, I am always happy to travel. Please send me a message via the "Contact" section and I can create a bespoke quote for you.
Will you take the posed family group photos?
Yes I do, I know these are important to some. About 1 month before your wedding I contact you to discuss the group photos you would like and a few other points such as the key timings of your day.
Can I extend coverage of the day?
I normally cover from bridal prep through to shortly after the first dance. If you would like extended photography then I have an option to extend the coverage later into the night.
What kind of gear do you use?
I currently shoot with mirroless Fujifilm cameras. On your wedding day I usually work with a 2 camera set up. I always have 3 or 4 cameras with me on the day to cover any technical issues that may occur.
I try to not use flash if possible as I find this can produce images that do not feel real. Also I always try to work in a discreet way and using a flash itself can draw unwanted attention to me. That said I do take 3 flashguns with me to weddings just in case they are needed.
Do I have to order prints through you?
No, all the photos you receive you are free to download and print yourself.
I do provide a service through a professional printer who will ensure high quality, colour accurate prints, canvas and other artwork for you.
Will I receive colour of black and white photos?
As I work through your images I make a decision based on each image to decide if the image will look best in colour or black and white.
Do you use a camera Flash?
or as much of the day as possible I do not use a flash, I feel the images simply look more real and natural without the use of a flash. Also I like too remain discrete and a flash gun going off is far from discreet. There are parts of the day that may need me to use one such as the first dance.
